Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee Subscription – $6.39

dunkin donuts

After years of resistance to the temptations of caffeine, I’ve finally given in and started to drink coffee on a daily basis. The jolt of energy every morning is great, but the cost can really add up. So today’s post features Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, which is probably the best brew out there for the price you pay. You can signup for a recurring coffee subscription and have their coffee beans sent straight to your front door. Choose from Original, Dunkin’ Decaf, French Vanilla, or Hazelnut. The price for a pound of beans is $6.39, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than Peet’s or Starbucks.

  1. Amber Says:

That is absolutely false, you novice coffee drinker. There is no way that Dunkin’ Donuts coffee can amount to the smooth espresso shots that Peet’s Coffee produces, or any Berkeley-based coffee shop for that matter. They have recurring coffee subscriptions everywhere that ship out to your door. This is not new, sir.

Best coffee places in the Bay Area:
    Cafe Strada (Berkeley, CA)
    Cafe Milano (Berkeley, CA)
Free Speech Movement Cafe (Berkeley University, CA)
    Moonbeans Cafe (Stanford University, CA)
The Canvas Gallery (San Francisco, CA)
    Peet’s Coffee (Everywhere, thank goodness)

I demand that you retract your statement. TAKE IT BACK… NOW!!!

Sorry, but they all cost over $10 and aren’t cool, which make them ineligible to be listed on this blog.

If you’re in San Francisco, you’re at one of the coffee hubs of USA (the other one is in New Jersey) which means you can buy cheap green coffee at next to nothing (1lbs of good coffee for $4-6), then get a $8 popcorn roaster from walgreens and make your own fresh coffee!

  4. hmm interesting site. I like the way you react to my loving investigation I have a nice joke. What’s the difference between roast beef and pea soup? Anyone can roast beef.

  5. Tim Taylor Says:

We sell green coffee for $5/lb. Our twelve ounce bag is $10. But you still have to pay shipping. Or, to avoid the shipping charge, you can pick up your coffee from our operation in Chicago.

Some products cost very little to produce while leaving everyone in the supply chain happy, ie: paper clips, toothbrushes, macaroni & cheese, ramen noodles. Coffee is not one of those products. See the following documentary trailer for an intro into the inequities in the coffee sector:

But, I like the site. I’m a thrift store geek myself. Always looking for gems under $10.
